Shipping Policy
At Choco Del Mar, we ship orders Monday through Wednesday to ensure your chocolate arrives in the best condition. Orders placed after noon on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday. Typically, we use USPS for shipping. During warm weather, we include a cold pack and extra insulation to protect your chocolate. Please ensure the delivery address will not leave the package sitting outdoors, as prolonged exposure can affect the quality of the chocolate. We recommend shipping to a location where you can receive the package immediately to avoid any issues. Choco Del Mar is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses or deliveries resulting in packages being left in unsuitable conditions. Remember, it’s chocolate, and it can melt! We take great care in packing our bars, but your help is essential in making sure they arrive safely.
USPS Ground shipping is only available if the estimated delivery date is two days or less. This policy ensures that your chocolate spends minimal time in transit and arrives in optimal condition. From May 15 to October 15, we include ice packs with all orders. Outside these months, we automatically check the forecast for the delivery date. If the temperature is expected to be over 75°F, we mark the package to be shipped with insulation and an ice pack. This ensures that your chocolate remains in the best possible condition during transit.
All shipping details are transparent on our checkout page, where you will see your estimated ship date, estimated delivery date, and whether your package will include an ice pack and insulation.
